National Dexter Show 2018!
This year the national Dexter Cattle show was located at the Royal Norfolk. It was rather hot but our stand was very successful and overall it was a lovely show; we were thrilled to see Paul Brind, one of our own group members take home the prize for Breed Champion with the outstanding Clobell Bramble, pictured below. A huge thank you to Everyone involved in the setup of the stand and those who manned it over the duration of the show.
Come and Join Us!
Membership is just £5 for the year and we have several visits throughout the year to look at some of the finest Dexter Cattle in the country. Owning any Dexters is not a requirement so long as you are as passionate about the breed as we are!!

Meetings and Other News
Our most recent meeting was at the kind invitation of Richard and Mandy Hirson. Despite it being a rather wet and chilly day, we all enjoyed viewing their animals and the fun forage identification contest.
It was also lovely to visit their neighbours' Dexter Herd and other animals; including some lovely Cameroon Sheep which most of us had never heard of!
Our group AGM at The Park Hotel in Diss was again a roaring success. We enjoyed an excellent spread of food and had a jolly good time!
The next meeting will take place on the 19th of May by kind invitation of Nigel and Sue Dixon.
